Dog gone it!
It is the
personal responsibility of all dog owners and their
guardians to pick up after their dogs in all areas of
Rossford. Ordinance number 505.01 (C) specifies that every
dog owner/guardian shall remove any feces left on any
sidewalk, gutter, street, park or other public or private
area. Whoever violates this section is guilty of a
misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
Our community is comming together to motivate dog owners tobe responsible and clean up after their dogs. Speak up when
you see a lack of responsibility. Let an officer know
if you see a dog 'go.' It is cleaner, safer, smarter and
nicer to pick up after your pet. Canine Litter: Pollutes our water through storm water runoff Spreads disease both to humans and other pets Detracts from our neighborhood image
